The college has formed a special cell for competitive examination guidance in 2009. The cell is working for the students to make them aware of the competitive examinations. Without any fees the cell organizes various activities for students such as Lecture-Sessions of eminent resource persons, One Day Workshops Test Examinations, etc. Resourceful expertise, up-dated library facilities, internet facility, separate study-room, facility of filling up online forms of various competitive exams are what the aspirants avail of at this cell. This cell generates awareness about different competitive exams conducted by MPSC, UPSC, Staff Selection Commission, Indian Railway, Banks etc. the advertisements of competitive exams are displayed on the notice board; the faculty members help them to fill up the application forms. Lectures of Resource persons are organized to prepare various aspects of such exams throughout the academic year. A special reading room is made available to such students with computer and internet facility.
The library consists of valuable books of various publishing companies in all over India of the Competitive Examination. It is a matter of great pride to state that more than 175 students of this centre have been recruited at various Governmental positions and have been carrying out the responsibilities quite magnificently. The cell has earned reputation as one of the best cells in and around Buldana District. It is firmly believed that through this cell the awareness of the rural student will definitely be strengthened.
This cell prepares a time table of the lectures to be conducted after the regular college is over. This lecture continues for two hours every day. Different subjects are taught in these lectures. The lectures of some eminent persons are also held besides the regular lectures. The renowned academies in Maharashtra such as, Unique Academy, Pune, Study Circle, Deepstambh Academy in Jalgaon, I Learn Academy, Aurangabad, Bhoge Academy in Aurangabad, Reliable Spardha Pariksha Margdarshan Kendra, Beyond Vision Academy in Nagpur and Pre-IAS coaching academy in SGBAU Amravati are also invited to deliver guest lectures to these students. These academies send their expertise to guide our students. At the same time they also organize book exhibitions from which students buy the relevant books. We organize a Police Pre-recruitment Camps giving them theoretical as well practical knowledge.

In order to help rural students and to awaken and intensify their talent, Shri Vyankatesh Arts & Commerce College initiated Guidance Cell for Employment and Self-Employment (GCESE).
The College arranges various Programmes, Workshop, Camps and guest lecturers from time to time to encourage the students to prepare for Competitive Examinations.
