Deulgaon Raja is a city and a municipal council in Buldhana district in the state of Maharashtra, India. Balaji Temple, Deulgaon. is dedicated to Shri Laxmi Venkatesha, Balaji temple is situated in Deulgaon Raja, Tehasil in Buldhana district. Shri Balaji from Deulgaon Raja is considered as the incarnation of the Tirupati Balaji from State of Andhra Pradesh. The idol of Shri Venkatesha along with goddess Laxmi in the temple is as small as a forefinger and is made of five precious metals.

The founder of the ‘Sindkhedkar Jadhao’ dynasty, the father of Rashtramata Maa Jijau and great grandson of Raja Lakhujirao Jadhao, Shri. Rao Jagdeorao founded the ‘Balaji Maharaj Sansthan’ in 1962 in Deulgaon Raja. The ‘Balaji Sansthan’ is a symbol of secularity and has always been active in social services by participating in various religious and social activities. To extend its social contribution the ‘Balaji Sansthan in the year 1967 started ‘Shri Vyankatesh Arts and Commerce College’ in Deulgaon Raja.

Despite India got freedom in 1947, the period of 1967 had equaled the Medieval Period in terms of the higher education. The then trustee of ‘Shri Balaji Sansthan’, Late Raja Rajendrashing Jadhao, realized the importance of higher education, particularly the education of the downtrodden and the people living in rural area for the development of the state as well as country. Taking into consideration the acute need of higher education in this area he started the college to avail the facility of higher education to the people in the periphery of Deulgaon Raja . Presently, Hon. Raja Vijaysing Mansingrao Jadhao is the hereditary trustee of the Sansthan and under his able and valuable guidance the College is doing remarkable progress.
