About Department

    Welcome to the department of Mathematics in Shri Vyankatesh College, Deulgaon raja.
   The Department of Mathematics at ShriVyankatesh College was established in 2009 and plays an important role in providing undergraduate students with a solid mathematical foundation. Our programmes are designed to provide students with the core mathematical abilities required for a variety of academic and professional goals.

Student Engagement and Achievements:

   We encourage active participation in university-level seminars, online courses, and science exhibitions, enabling students to showcase their talents and expand their horizons in mathematics. Our guidance and support also extend to students aspiring for higher education, providing assistance in preparation for entrance exams such as IIT-JAM and university-level PG entrance exams in Mathematics.

Faculty expertise:

   Shri. S. J. Chavhan, who has been the Head of the Department since 2017, has qualified the NET exam in mathematics with an AIR of 33 and is currently, pursuing a Ph. D. in mathematics with a thesis titled On Algebraic Aspects of Cryptography. We are committed to creating a positive learning environment that supports students' academic and personal development.
