The department of Mathematics use different types of methods for Teaching, Learning and Evaluation such as Students Seminar, Group discussion, Quiz Contest, Record test, Assignment, use of Digital class, online NPTEL course, etc.
In the department of Mathematics teaching, learning process start from 1st July of every session. At the beginning of the session every teachers prepare his/her academic plan in his academic diary as per calendar prepared by college.
In semester there is 60 + 15 pattern for B.Sc. Mathematics students, that is 60 marks for external theory and 15 marks for internal. Evaluation of internal 15 marks for student as Record test, student seminar and assignment. Two Record tests are conducted for each semester. For stage daring and confidence in the students Seminars are conducted by the department at the end of each semester. Maximum students deliver their seminar on the topics covered in class. Besides, two group discussions held at the end of each semester. During this activity students discuss topics in the respective subject and they increase their knowledge about the respective subject. In this activity marks are given by individually. At the semester department of Mathematics organized Quiz Contest for BSC students. In this activity most of the topic cover from the syllabus by making 4 to 5 teams. In this activity marks are given to team.
The teachers maintain the file of all these activities undertaken during the year. The file is checked by principal as well as IQAC. Beside these evolution teachers used digital classroom for students to learn interestingly and technically.
