1. Research on local history: National history is built on local history and with the aim of creating knowledge/interest in research among college students; History Department Head Dr. Rajendrasing took the students along and did a thorough research on the history of Deulgaon Raja city and its historical places. Also, this research was published in the form of research paper, Wall magazine and research project to bring the local history to light
2. Tracing the Heirs of the Jadhav Branch : Sindkhed Raja was the capital of Raja Lakhuji Jadhav Rao and for some time thereafter the Jadhav dynasty. Therefore, branches of the heirs of the Jadhav family reside in Deulgaon Raja, Adgaon Raja, Kingaon Raja and Mehuna Raja in the area along with Sindkhed Raja. Similarly, the heirs of Lakhuji Jadhav Rao also live in Umrad and Javalkhed. This is a work to prove after thorough research by Professor and Head of History Department Dr. Rajendrasing Devare.
3. History of Sri Balaji Maharaj Sansthan: At Deulgaon Raja Rao Jagdevrao, the great grandson of Raje Lakhuji Jadhavrao, came to live at Deulgaon Raja from Sindkhed Raja. After that he established Shri Balaji Maharaj Devasthan at Deulgaon Raja. Therefore, the establishment of Sri Balaji Maharaj Devasthan at Deulgaon Raja was done by Rao Jagdevarao in 1692 . The task of bringing this before the society after thorough research on the basis of authentic evidence is the head of the history department Dr. Rajendrasing Devare.
4. Collection and preservation of historical documents: The work of collecting historical documents related to the history of Sindkhedkar Jadhav family is being done on behalf of the History Department. Sindhedkar Jadhav family's authentic (original) Modi language Bakhar's (book) Edited by D.B.Mahajan. (usually written between 1761) This genuine Bakhar was discovered acquired by Prof. Dr. Rajendrasingh Devare and the original manuscript (Kawan) of the poet Gosavinandan of Sindkhedaraja has been made available to the readers in the college museum.
5. Collection of Rare Photographs : Department of History has taken up collection of rare photographs along with historical documents with the cooperation of students. Till date the Department of History has access to more than 250 rare photographs.
