The department of microbiology is planning to emphasis on various activities throughout the academic year. In every academic year department invited the distinguished personalities of subject for guest lecture to enhance the knowledge and vision of student.Besides the traditional lectures department also conducting a virtual classroom of various distinguished faculties from other institute to increase and update the knowledge of subject. Department conducted the bridge course for B.Sc.I year students in Life sciences when academic session has been started. Department conducts regular seminar of students on various topics. It helps them to explore topics in more depth, to learn more about your subject and to develop skills of sharing their ideas. To increase and to update the knowledge of subject department organizes Quiz competition it helps them to explore topics in more depth, to learn more about the subject. Department of microbiology organizes group discussion session to develop communication skill and to increase confidence and to accept challenges department of microbiology regularly arrange group discussion programme. As a part of extracurricular activity student of microbiology prepares various wall magazine and model on recent topics
Department of Microbiology collects literature regarding the recent developments in microbiology and latest research in the subject. This material had available to student for reading at the department. Department access the Potability of drinking water available at our college.This activity is undertaken by T.Y.BSc, samples collects from various villages of Deulgaon Raja Tahsil. Department of microbiology conducts yearly State Level MicrobiOlympiad. Beside this we also promote the student to enroll for NPTEL certificate course which conducted by IIT’s. Department promote student for preparation of university PG entrances like JAM, JGEEBILS various University entrances for these examination preparation department conducted model test it helps the students for improvement their confidence.Department organizes outreach programme for students such as pathology lab visit, industrial visit.
