Teaching, learning and evaluation process starts from 1st July. According to University academic calendar the academic plan is prepared by the teacher in his academic diary. In the same way plan is made for evaluation of the student. While teaching the notes are given by the teacher in the class and after completion of units the test are held. Four tests are conducted in a year.
To make the student Bold seminars are organized all the students are appealed to involve in this activity. The seminars are conducted at the end of every session. In semester system there is (80 + 20) pattern for B. Sc students. 20 marks for internal assessment besides the group discussion is a part of evaluation. Two group discussions are held in a year. To make the student answerable during the Viva voce of Practical Examination.
At the end of every session quiz competitions are organized on the topics thought in the class. Generally the four teams are prepared for quiz competition. On the basis of performances the winning group is decided. Teachers maintain the files of all these activities undertaken during the year. The file is checked by IQAC as well as principal.
Besides this activities interactive sessions are conducted as a fundamental part of social and emotional learning. Field visits are organized for every class to acquire increased knowledge, culture and hands-on experience. During the visits the local verities are collected in a proper way to prepare herbaria and the record of which is maintained in the department of botany.
Industrial visit are being organized to combine theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge. Industrial realities are opened to the students through industrial visits, projects beyond simply helping students to learn skills projects allow them to produce something. Not only do they allow student to make something cool, but they allow you to showcase your skills in such a way that people who might want to work with you or hire you. Home assessment are given to students to know not only the basic reading but also skills that will allow them to face a world that is continually changing. They must be able to think critically, to analyze, and to make inferences. Changes in the skills base and knowledge our students need require new learning goals; these new learning goals change the relationship between assessment are given which help us for effective teaching and learning process.
The botanical name competition is organized to improve the knowledge of taxonomy and to know about the plants of near by locality. In this way students are motivated to study hard. They are provided with all study material and notes. Truant students parents are consulted telephonically or by post in this way the evaluation of the student is made throughout the year.
